Awwww… I’m such a sucker for sweet and cheesy moments.

I’m sure you’ve already heard matches and marriages due to online games and MMORPG. But this one is hot off the RF boards.

In a post by IcePrincess, she relates how RF Online changed her life – for the better.

IcePrincess, a Level 50 Templar from Nexus said; “I believe God intended for me play this game…sabi nga nila everything happens for a reason..I really hope others would be inspired with our story,”

Here’s her complete narrative:

Dec 2005..i had some IRL probs then,i was near to being an alcoholic and did some really crazy stuff until the day my brother brought home an installer..i was the 1st to try the game and i was instantly hooked to it becuz of its graphics and gameplay..months passed and i noticed i was more at home and was able to give up my vices little by little..my mom noticed the good changes in me and so she was tolerant even if i play a lot and even upgraded our internet connection..i was happy and contented,i attented EB’s and events and met a lot of gamers,i had a lot of frends and was happy with the community..

Little did i know,theres more to come for me,january of this year,i met the man that i would marry..he was my guildmate,it was by accident that i saw his profile on friendster and thought to myself,hes really cute,it would be nice to get to know him a little better since we’re in the same guild..after exchanging emails, numbers,and meaningful conversations with him,my intrest grew bigger but i know its impossible for us to be together since he lives in cebu & Im from Nueva ecija..and so we just went with the flow and talked more often..Feb 14,2007 was the day he told me he loved me,i didnt believe him at first but agreed to give it a shot since we dont have commitments and i see no harm if we try..His first visit here was around march,he was also here just this month,I introduced him to my relatives and they loved him right away..Day after day we fell more and more inlove, playing everyday is out tym together and though we’re aparta its as is we’re together..

But of course we cant go on playing forever,so i have to say goodbye to RF temporarily.I will be leaving the country for work this coming tuesday..We decided to sart saving up for our future ^_~ We are talking of marriage but that will have to wait til i get back..

I believe God intended for me play this game…sabi nga nila everything happens for a reason..I really hope others would be inspired with our story,Im not saying mag adik den kau tulad ng gniwa ko or jump at every oppurtunity na may makilala kau ingame..Its up to you to really know the person and know his/her sincerity..

Thank u sa lahat ng na meet ko..naging friends ko ingame/IRL,guildmates ko,sa mgaumaaway sakin,lahat na..thank you cuz u all made my time in RF worth remmbering..
