Make Your Own Disaster Kit

With 2 new storms in the horizon that will hit our country, we just hope that typhoon Ondoy is the worst already. With the coming tropical depressions, it won’t hurt to create your own disaster kit. and don’t forget a can opener!
what kind of antibiotics should we include in the bag? how abou cefixime or ceftriaxone?

  • http://gmtristan.com GM T

You don’t need a can opener since you already have the swiss army knife. For antibiotics, get the generic ones or ask your doctor. For other drugs, you can put whatever you think is appropriate

Yep.. Even the cheapest Swiss army knife can open up cans and bottles. If you have a bit more cash, you could by a solar panel charger which can basically recharge batteries, phones, and rechargeable flashlights. Now if we’re talking ’bout post apocalyptic/nuclear disaster, a gun would be VERY handy. But that’s just me. :b
Oh.. I just noticed. A lighter could also be an indispensable tool for certain situations. You could also swap AM radios for radios that enable communication. There are also pen filters that can clean water when you drink from them. lol My list is getting too be a very expensive one. I wouldn’t suggest such luxuries for those can’t afford it.

Uh, I think $100 may be a bit more challenging to obtain as P100.
