Hoooza! A nice long weekend! After the Sazabi, I bought two gundam kits. Both were new releases and from the Seed series. I already finished assembling and painting the first one, the Gale Strike. Now, I’m starting on the next project, the Regen Duel.
I still have to catch up on blog posts for the kits. My last one was the Tieren. Anyways, check out more photos of the in-progress build report for my Duel.
In-Progress for Gundam Regen Duel (1/100 HG kit. Bandai original)

Instead of the light violet, I decided to give those parts a bronze/copper finish. Here are the painting steps
- Primer
- Pylox (can) Flat Black (lacquer)
- airbrush Tamiya Titanium Silver (acrylic)
- airbrush Tamiya Dark Copper (acrylic)

Once this dries, I still have to “sponge” in a light rust mixture (acrylic) and then layer in with Pledge Wipe and Shine (future). Once that dries, a black enamel will be washed and then lastly, I’ll be dry-brushing it with silver by hand!
Whew! Still a long ways to go. For more of the Work-In-Progress pics, you can check ‘em out at my Facebook Album.
Peace!
