HD Trailers - My New Hobby

Eversince I got my big-ass TV, downloading high-definition (HD) movie and game trailers has been a new and enjoyable hobby for me.

In fact, I even “infected” some officemates and friends to scrap the idea of just watchin low-res streaming vids and trailers and really experience what high-definition truly is. Now, they’re into collecting HD trailers too. Alrighty!

Trust me, once you see it, you’ll definitely won’t go back to low-res or crappy, grainy videos ever again. I also convert it to PSP format so the vids can be ‘mobile’ and I can show it to others and share.

Where do I get the HD stuff?

For starters, try going to HD-trailers.net, (you might not notice the big arrows to the left and right, k? Those are the “next” and “previous” buttons). This site will direct you to download the videos. Just right click and “save target as”.
I also go to Apple’s Trailers and Yahoo Movies. Downloading the videos are a sinch too.
For games, there’s gametrailers.com Not all games have HD versions, but I trust that you’ll do your own searching there.
Finally, there’s the Azureus-Vuze HD Channel for all your HD needs. Want to watch the sunset at full 1080p? Be my guest
Good news, peeps! DivX already has a new codec suitable up to 1080p full HD resolution. Perfect for those big TVs (or LCD monitors)
