Guitar Rising: Guitar Hero for REAL Guitars
Last weekend, me and my officemates showed someone who knows how to play a real guitar how to play Guitar Hero 3. Yes, there seems to be some sort of connection between skill in real life and with the “fake guitar” of the game. The dude then said, “It would be wonderful if this game could actually be used on a real guitar!”. Agree.
Which made me searching. True enough, I found Guitar Rising - which, according to their site is “a music video game where the player plays a real guitar as cued by the game’s visuals. Following rock music sequences and streaming notes, players play guitar melodies and rhythms. Beginner difficulty levels are designed for non-guitar players and hard difficulties will challenge experienced guitarists.”
Real guitars!!! Sweet!

The game is expected to be released in late 2008. They didn’t say for what platform. I’m guessing it’s for PC and maybe some consoles.
Kewl!

I want a game like this for other musical instruments like the tuba, or the triangle, or the kazoo…
They actually said it’s PC only.
