Google Chrome Shortcuts

I’m currently using Google Chrome, the new browser from duh… Google. I’ve stopped using Mozilla and Micro$oft’s Internet Explorer for quite some time now. Google Chrome is “cleaner”, faster and has a better interface.

But do you know that there are some shortcuts to make your life easier if you’re a Chrome user?

Google Chrome Shortcuts

Here are some useful tips

  • Control + N = Opens a new window
  • Control + T = Opens a new tab
  • Control + Shift + T = Opens the last tab you closed
  • Alt + Home = opens your homepage in the current window
  • Control + J = opens the downloads page

I still prefer using Safari 5 .. it’s got the nifty “Reader View” to lessen the clutter from web pages, and the “Top Sites” feature.

what i love about chrome is that every single tab is a separate instance, thus the large usage. but what this means is that if that specific tab crashes, it doesn’t affect the others. and the incognito window is fantastic!

Still, using the word “new” to an almost 2-year old browser sounds awkward. Anyway, the only thing I like about Chrome is its clean interface. I still stick with Firefox as my main browser coz of the plugins I need.
