The official Philippine Team for the Ragnarok World Championships (RWC) 2007, Team Armada, is currently busy preparing for their battles. They will fly to Seoul to compete on July 21-22, 2007.

Last Friday, I was at their practice session together with makmak641, Waukeen and the pRO Community Managers, Blue and Bubbles.

The fights were intense. To add a handicap, they practiced on a 9 vs. 7 with Team RP being the 7-man.

Team Armada is composd of the following players:

The pRO team is planning on putting up a profile webpage of the team very soon (and also a possible farewell in-game event). Also, expect my weekly column at Transit newszine to come out soon (probably this week or the next) with more news and coverage about the RP RWC team.

I remember the last time I was there in Korea (2004) for the last RWC. Although we lost, it was a good experience for everyone. I’m sure Armada and their leaders would not want a repeat of that. This time, we’re going for the jugular and (hopefully) take home the much coveted crown! Methinks it would be good to get some tips from RWC veterans such as Restless and the rest…

But we also need the support of the gaming community for this. Kindly wish Team Philippines well…

It would not be prudent to disclose the RO job line-up nor the tactics of the team at this moment. Chances are, the enemy is scouting around for strategies (as we are).
