G.I. Joe the Movie
This new (real-life, not CG or animated) movie will hit theaters in 2009.
G.I. Joe the movie is from Paramount and the action-adventure stars Dennis Quaid, Channing Tatum, Sienna Miller, Rachel Nichols, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Said Taghmaoui, Marlon Wayans, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Arnold Vosloo and Christopher Eccleston.
Ray Park (Darth Maul) stars as the legendary Snake Eyes (pictured below. Click to enlarge).
There’s no trailer yet but Paramount released two official photos of Park as Snake Eyes.
“He’s the world’s greatest ninja, but he’s also next-generation. He’s not afraid to use a sword one second, and a split-second later he’s pulling out his Glock,” Sommers told USA Today. “His chief nemesis is arguably the world’s other great ninja, Storm Shadow. The two grew up together, were blood brothers and now are mortal enemies.”
G.I. Joe the movie will reportedly reveal the origins of Snake Eyes and perhaps the other characters.

Ahem* …Ray Park
Gawd! The costume looks awesome. I wonder who the other G.I. Joes are (or Cobra for that matter).
Oh man, Snake Eyes is the awesomest, bad-assedest, coolest of the coolest character around! Darn, we have to wait ’till next year…
At least Anthony Stark and Dr. Henry Jones, Jr. will keep us entertained in the meantime.
OMG thats awesome!!!
