Okay… I love packing up for a trip. Unfortunately, I forgot my jacket when the entire Level Up management team went to Tagaytay for our corporate planning session. While they were enjoying the cool air, I was shivering like a wet dog.
Oh well, this post ain’t about jackets (and memory loss). I want to show you the essential gadgets and goodies that goes into my backpack when I go to a trip.
Ever wondered what actual gadgets or tools I use for work? and of course, to stay in touch online and to update this blog syempre! (and let’s NOT forget playing and gaming stuff)
Here’s the first photo:

More details about each gadget after the jump
GM TRISTAN’S GADGETS

- Globe Huawei Visibility Wi-Fi – I use this cool nifty gadget to go online almost anywhere and anytime. It’s a USB apparatus which you plug into your laptop. There’s a sim card inside. With good signals, you can get speeds up to 3.6MBPS vis HDSPA. Sweet!
- Toshiba Satellite M100 – with my new laptop, I can work fast and be more productive (justifying the cost a little ehehehe). It’s an Intel Centrino Duo with a separate ATI Radeon X1300 128MB video card so I can also play when I feel like it.
- Targus Wireless Mouse – a gift from my mom, I love this mouse! Only a Razer can make me change it. It’s not too big and not too small. Plus the range is good.
- Targus Infra bay – While a lot of friends think it’s a humungous USB drive, it’s actually the receiver for the wireless mouse.
- Nokia 6680 – Yep. Old phone. But I have no complaints. It’s a Level Up issued phone and it does the job for me – calls, text, videos, Bluetooth, pics. Aprub!
- My USB drive – this one is just 512MB. I’m actually giving away a bigger one for my blog contest. Soon I want to replace this with either a 2GB or 4GB drive. It’s great for those times when you need to have a presentation or file ready on the fly!
- Microsoft Zune – you’ll probably ask why I don’t have an iPod. Well, my 30GB zune has a radio, Bluetooth and has a bigger and wider screen than any iPod (well, before the Touch hit the fan). I have a review of this in my old blog.
- Sony PSP – Can’t live without it. Gaming on the bus, van or plane is simply one way to kick back and relax. But don’t tell anyone ok – I am envious of Gamer Babe Pam’s Nintendo DS. Once maka-ipon, I think I’ll get myself one too.
The camera, my old Olympus digital, ain’t in the pic – I’m using it obviously…
Here’s a close-up>>

That’s all for this post. Seeya again later.
Cheers,
GM T
