The biggest online gaming event is just around the corner. In fact, we’ve just published our very own How To Survive Live manual. Meanwhile, for those who are willing to camp outside the World Trade Center (just like last year), here are a few tips and information for you.

What follows are guidelines for Early Birds after the break.

Early Bird mechanics and rules

1. Be the first 300 (on day 1) and 200 (on day 2) to receive a special in-game item of your choice as an Early Bird
2. There will be assigned, official Marshals at the WTC gate (near the security guard) as early as dinner time on October 17, 2008
3. Obey the Marshals. They willl brief you on the system to determine the first 300
4. official Early Birds will be the first to enter the WTC lobby
5. All birds will, however, still undergo the normal registration procedures (so bring an unused P50 top-up card or unopened Gamer Sim to gain entry). Note: if you attended the Road to LIVE event at MOA last October 4, just present your FREE LIVE ENTRANCE PASS in lieu of the above.
6. Prizes (1 in-game item of your choice)
