Dusk Palace: Perfect World Patch Finally Arrives
After several months, Perfect World has finally been infused with new blood. “Da Patch” as we have termed Dusk Palace here at the office has now seen the light of day last April 17. When talking to Perfect World managers, staff and even members of the community, the most often-asked question is: “when will you have the patch?”. During those times, there had been some hiccups, but we’re all glad that it’s finally over and PW has new content… since a lot of players are practically begging and demanding for it.
It’s not easy to manage, organize and prepare for a patch. It takes a lot of resources, planning, troubleshooting and yep, technical stuff, for something that seems so simple to be realized.
Now that Dusk Palace is up and running, the players are happy. Woot! Content is indeed one way to keep players playing but it doesn’t stop there. Community management is also essential. That’s why our new PW Brand Manager and his team are busy trying to come up with supporting events including the official PW tournament season.
Hats off to Wauks and the PW Team for finally making Dusk Palace a reality. I’m sure PW will be going places now. The challenge is to keep the community and game “soaring”.

This is exactly what I’ve been talking about.
A lot of hard work goes into updates for online games, and Perfect World is no exception.
Some players thought that Level Up! had been dillydallying on the patch implementation because of lack of funds to pay for it. Such a juvenile notion.

tae nagpatch nga kau ang mahal naman.. dati ang pinakamataas na presyo ng flight ehh 2800gold tapos biglang 10kgold..wtf
un ba ang maipagmamalaki nyong patch??.. kakarampot na 7MB
ni wala ngang mount na nai-release tapos marami pang saradong dungeon.. talgang dusk palace lang ang binuksan.. ang titigas ng mukha..
ang lau ng patch natin sa PW-Malaysia English version na bukas lahat dungeon pati mga fashion kung tutuusin nauna pa tau mag open beta.. tau july cla november..
we need a big patch.. un lang naman hinihingi ng community di nyo pa mapagbigyan..

pasabi pa kayo na laha ng naglalaro ng PW ay masaya sa bagong patcher i bakit kami ganito talagang nakakainis at sa ka ang mamahal ng bilihin tapos sa serpent lng may event palage logi naman po ata kami ung nasa dragon at tiger na server ala naman event nakakabagot to ohhh parang nakakatamad maglaro nakaisip nga kayo ng bagong lugar hindi naman lahat ng naglalaro ay may parehong nang yayari .

You can’t play in Saudi since the game ONLY works in the Philippines. That’s the licensing and deal agreement with the makers of the game.
