Celtics Win 2008 NBA Championship
It’s over! At the end of the battle, “There Can Be Only One”. Which was exactly the theme of this year’s NBA Finals.
And yes, I’m a Celtics fan. Wohoo! Kevin Garnet and Ray Allen nailed the coffin on Kobe and the LA Lakers by winning Game 6 of this classic NBA rivalry. Final scores were 131-92, one of the most lopsided wins in NBA Finals history. This is Boston’s first championship since 1986 and their 17th championship as a franchise.
KG and Ray Allen each scored 26 points to lead their team to victory. Kobe and the Lakers could only watch in amazement as the Celtics pulled away for good.

Meanwhile, Paul Pierce was named Finals MVP.
This classic rivalry, now with new “gladiators”, may have ushered in a new “golden era” in the NBA. Check out some video highlights of the series here.
Congrats to KG and the Celtics!

Boston pride, baby! Yeah!
