The Top 8 battled it out yesterday at the SM North Skydome to determine who would be the Philippine rep for this year’s Ragnarok World Championships in Seoul, Korea.
After an epic match with the 2009 champions, Suspects (Coerce), Naked Nanaman (sister team of last year’s Philippine team, Naked Babies) came out the victor on a match that went to the fifth and final game. They will be going to Seoul this October and hopefully we get to win the RWC finally!
It’s that time of year!
After the dust settled, only 8 teams are left. After the epic matches tomorrow, there will BE ONLY ONE. One left standing. And that team will be the new Team Pilipinas which will represent our country for this year’s Ragnarok World Championships. We’ve almost tasted the crown. This year could be OUR year.

This morning, we launched the beta version of the new MyLevelUp account management system. In that version, users were required to submit a validated e-mail in order to start using the new and improved system. Unfortunately, not a lot of players knew their account details that much and we were forced to revert back to the old one until we can find a balanced solution to that issue. (click here for the official announcement regarding that matter).
I received a lot of hate comments on my Facebook page during that time that we were gathering data and feedback from our players. I’d like to take this opportunity to explain why there is a need to validate e-mails in modern web platforms and applications.
Starting Jan 4 to Feb 1, 2011, players who top up for the very first time will get a one-time bonus.

2010 was an awesome year. There’s much growth on my blog’s readership and the Facebook page has never been better.
In work, we launched a couple of games this year, I went to Indonesia for RWC, and of course, had another uber-successful LU LIVE 2010.
For my hobbies, I certainly couldn’t wish anything else. Had great mods and projects for the model kits and also made great progress (and improvements, I hope) in Photography. Let me share with you the top posts and my favorite posts of 2010.

We’re proud to have been appointed as one of the prepaid card distribution partners in the Philippines for IAHGames subsidiary Monsoon Online, the Southeast Asia distributor of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty.
The announcement was made in a press conference last Wednesday, Nov 17, 2010 at Makati. Prepaid cards are now one of the available and alternative methods to play the highly acclaimed StarCraft 2 game on Battle.Net.
