Swine Flu Now Declared A Global Pandemic

The WHO, after getting all the facts and coordinating with world experts and governments, has declared a Level 6 Pandemic on the AH1N1 virus, or commonly referred as Swine Flu.
But it’s not cause to panic. It’s not like the virus will be full throttle and be killing millions of people. In fact, ordinary flu kills more.
Details coming up after the jump.

How To Stretch Your Allowance

Here in the Philippines, we call allowance - baon.
Now that school’s already started, I thought I’d share with you some few tips on how to save and stretch your baon. You can either use the savings for gaming (buying stuff at the Item Mall) or maybe you’re saving to buy a new collectible toy, gadget or perhaps even a model kit. (like my hobby)
The choice is yours. What’s important is the experience and the discipline you’ll learn from the process.

Binuhusan ng tubig ni Abner Afuang (na binansagan na isang Tunay Na Lalake) si Hayden Kho sa senate hearing.
Panooring nyo na lang ang balita/video sa itaas. ‘Nuff said. Si Hayden Kho hindi nag react dahil alam nya ata na naka video. Lolz.

Swine Flu Hits Philippines
Now that we already have a couple of confirmed cases of Swine Flu or A(H1N1) virus here in our country, it’s time to take caution. The first thing to remember is NOT TO PANIC. It’s no cause for alarm. The government, c/o the DOH are already on top of the problem.
In light of these there are a few YM and text messages circulating about the area where the Swine Flu is. My advice? Don’t believe them. These are all rumors at the moment. What I’d want to share with you are some tips on how to prevent flu (and other disease) from spreading.

Chuck Daly Dies, 78

Guys from the 80’s generation will remember Chuck Daly as the coach of the Detroit Pistons, leading superstars such as Isiah Thomas and Bill Laimbeer to back-to-back titles in 1989 and 1990 before the era of His Airness, Michael Jordan.
Daly will also be remembered as the coach of the TRUE USA Dream Team in the 1992 Olympics. Can you argue with coaching the likes of Jordan, Larry Bird, and Magic Johnson all in one team?

Internet Cafe Business in the Philippines
In my post, How To Start Your Own Internet Cafe Business, I get a lot of questions. I’m happy to help and answer whenever I can. Consider it as a free consultancy =)
Anyways, I recently got a tough question from Aileen Suerte. She asks if it’s better to buy an already-built cafe rather than starting on her own.
Although I already sent her some notes (c/o the comments section), I’m gonna republish her question here and have more detailed analysis. Hopefully, Aileen (and many others like her) can make a sound decision.

Manny Pacquiao is Godlike
Yeah, baby! Right now, I hope you’re all proud to be Filipinos… like me.
Well, everyone in the world knows that Manny Pacquiao pawned Hatton in two brutal rounds. The opponent didn’t stand a chance. Oh well, there were a LOT of commercials in the delayed telecast at GMA 7. But you don’t need TV to know who won. It’s either Google or Plurk. Lolz.
Meanwhile, check out the youtube vids (man, that was fast) following next. Congrats, Manny! Mabuhay Pilipinas!

Barrack Obama nailed the presidency with this slogan… without saying the specifics he’ll change. Optimus was more direct to the point

Francis Magalona, 44
Yesterday, I had a scheduled doctor’s appointment at the Medical City. I was surprised to see a lot of media crew and OB vans in the vicinity of the hospital. Little did I know that “Master Rapper” Francis M passed away a few hours ago in the hospital. I learned about the breaking news when I overheard media people telling stories about Francis.
Let’s all say goodbye to the Father of Pinoy Rap and R&B, Francis M.
The Master Rapper joined our Creator around noon. Francis died of leukemia, a mere seven months after he was diagnosed with the disease. Francis was 44. He is survived by his wife, Pia and children, Unna, Nicolo, Maxene, Francis Jr., Saab, Elmo, Arkin and Clara.
