The Philippine Ragnarok Online team is very busy doing finishing touches in preparation of the launch of Dewata (that’s the correct spelling, guys!), a new Indonesian-themed map to be released into the commercial servers very, very soon.
Dewata is just one of Gravity’s projects to make “localized” maps and content for all their publishers. And yes, our very own, the Philippines is also in the works *wink*.

Alright! Development for this game has been delayed for so long, really. Everyone’s excited about the developments. Last year, the Koreans officially had the CBT around August 2010. Then they released some screenshots of the world and the famous cities in Ragnarok.
Now, it’s time to take a look at a couple of game-play videos which I’m sure you’ll find amazing (and bring back old memories).

The “Simbang Gabi” or ‘Mass at Dawn’ is a true Pinoy Christmas tradition, it’s a nine-day novena to the Blessed Mother. The novena begins December 16 as early as 4 in the morning and culminates with the “Misa de Gallo” on Christmas Eve to welcome the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.
To celebrate this, we also have an online Simbang Gabi in Ragnarok. Know the big church in Prontera, that’s where the event happens.
It looks like everyone here in the office are uber-busy… and excited at the same time.
This week, we’re launching two great games. One of them’s a new one and the other one is so hot, it’s like playing a new game. I’m talking no other than the Allods Philippines CBT which we launched last night. Thanks to all the warm support from the players. I was inside the game last night and when we opened it to the public, it was like a dam burst and huge influx of newbies poured into the noob areas. Boy, I really love CBTs.
Tomorrow is another big day. Tomorrow marks the day when we launch Ragnarok Renewal, the most anticipated patch for pRO. I remember this feeling when Juno was afoot a long, long time ago. Sigh.
It’s official! The most highly anticipated update for pRO will be online on Oct. 13, 2010.
Episode 22, Renewal debuts the release of the new 3rd Jobs. Brace yourself for a whole new Ragnarok experience as the country’s first and biggest MMORPG gets even better.
Just came back last night from Jakarta with the Philippine Team (Naked Babies), RO Brand Manager and Group A Marketing Head, Roy Inciong and Level Up! General Manager Jake San Diego.
We got the 3rd place after defeating Taiwan. 2009 defending champion, Japan (who also defeated us last year in the 2009 RWC Finals in Yokohama) won 2-1 in our semi-finals match to get the honor to face RO PVP “legends” Thailand for the all the marbles. Thailand took the crown after defeating Japan 3 to 1.

Sorry for this late post. I’ve been updating both at my Facebook Page and the official Ragnarok Facebook page on match results for Team Philippines. Yesterday was the start of the competitions for RWC 2010 here in Jakarta. After getting good pairings, me and the team awoke with enthusiasm to face the tough road ahead.
