I’m sure you already saw the teaser trailer of Iron Man the movie (and the recently released SuperBowl TVC spot), right? Well, there’s a second trailer released just a couple of days ago.

In this one, you get to see more of the gold-and-crimson Mark IV (if I’m not mistaken) armor.

The movie stars Robert Downey Jr. and is set to be released this May 2

Indiana Jones New Movie, New Trailer

On May 22, Indiana Jones will be back to thrill and delight us again.

And yes, it still is starring Harrison Ford! OMG, but he’s old?!? The movie is entitled Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystall Skull.

Directed by Steven Spielberg and written by David Keopp and George Lucas under LucasFilms. This is one movie this year that you shouldn’t miss.

Bond 22 Movie is officially named Quantum of Solace

The latest James Bond movie (the 22nd), starring Daniel Graig and foxy Olga Kurylenko is now officially named “Quantum of Solace”.

ComingSoon.Net featured the news where stars of the film, together with Sony execs, announced the title. “Quantum of Solace” is taken from one of a collection of short stories published by 007 creator Ian Fleming in 1960.

Heath Ledger Dead

28-year-old Australian actor Heath Ledger was found dead on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 inside his Manhattan, New York apartment.

According to reports, the body was found by the housekeepr lying face-down on the floor. The police still have no official word if foul play was involved. “There was some drugs found” said Lieutenant John Grimpal from the New York Police Department.

Heath Ledger was known for his performance in Brokeback Mountain and recently starred as the Joker in the new Batman film, Dark Knight. Dark Knight recently finished shooting and is currently in post-production.

[ girls ] Olga Kurlylenko, New Bond Girl

Ukrainian model/actress Olga Kurylenko is the newest Bond girl and will appear on the 2008 James Bond movie. The movie is tentatively titled Bond 22 and still stars wild Bond, Daniel Craig. Bond 22 is being directed by Marc Foster and is scheduled to be released on November 2008.

28-year old Olga was born and raised in the small town of Berdyansk in southern Ukraine. This model turned actress has appeared in several flicks namely, L’Annulaire (2005), Paris, je t’aime (2006), Le Serpent, Hitman, and Tyranny (all 2007).

“Taking my bra off in a movie has never been a problem for me,” Olga tells FHM. “As long as it makes the film more enjoyable to watch.”

2007 was a good year for movies. It also was a good year at the Box Office. Spiderman 3, the number one movie for 2007 also entered the all-time box office records at number 11 with an impressive 885M (worldwide gross). Titanic is still the number one film. That movie grossed an amazing 1.85 BILLION dollars

Now, allow me to recap the Top 10 movies of last year (in terms of box office revenues). Spiderman 3, Shrek the Third and Transformers make up the top tier of that list.

[movies] Aliens vs. Predator 2

This Christmas day, it’s an epic battle once again between Aliens and Predators. The movie, Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem will be released with the tagline “This Christmas there will be no peace on Earth.”

That’s exactly what happens when my “inaanaks” (godchildren) invade our place every Christmas. Hehehe.

Here’s the plot - When a Predator scout ship crash lands in a Colorado town. The Aliens on board escape and kill all the Predators except one. The last remaining Predator must now destroy all the Aliens as well as the horrific Pred-Alien that was spawned in the original AVP. Meanwhile the towns people are helplessly caught in the middle of the ultimate face-off between these two mythic creatures.

The New Knight Rider

If you spent your youth in the 80’s (like me), you’ll remember cheap (but good) TV shows like A-Team, McGyver and of course, Knight Rider. The car, named K.I.T.T. (short for Knight Industries Two Thousand) is back again on the screen.

Good friend, Mrs. Frost posts about it in her blog, Ambushed Thoughts.

Instead of the old Trans-Am, the new KITT is now a Shelby GT500KR Mustang. Hmmm… sounds like a marketing deal cooking, eh? More like a Transformers mega-deal, too.

JLA Movie (2009) Potential Cast

Here’s another anticipated hero-flick, Justice League of America. Warner Bros is set on timeline on releasing the film around the summer of 2009. The film, to be directed by George Miller (Happy Feet, Mad Max), is expected to announce an official cast sometime this week or the next.

But already, some sites are speculating on possible names to don the costumes of DC’s most powerful heroes.

The IMDB writes an unofficial plot summary - Seven original members of the Justice League — Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and the Martian Manhunter — are featured in an origins story about the superhero conglomerate. The plot revolves around villainous businessman Maxwell Lord and involves cyborgs called OMACs (One-Man Army Corps), who can take over humans and turn them into killing machines. There are epic battle scenes between Superman and Batman, as well as Superman and Wonder Woman, and League could spawn a slew of additional franchises if it’s successful.

Hitman The Movie

The latest “game to film” adaptation, Hitman is set to be released to the big screen this November 21.

In Hitman the movie, our anti-hero, Agent 47 is an international assassin who works for a group known only as “The Agency”.

Hitman the movie stars Timothy Olyphant. You will probably remember him as Thomas Gabriel and co-stars alongside Bruce Willis in Live Free and Die Hard (2007).

The teaser trailer shows very little. There are mixed reactions from both gamer and non-gamer critics
