So what happens when Zombies get all emo on us? Well, there’s this unbelievable new movie called Warm Bodies which takes on “Twilighty” traits.

This Christmas, there’s one movie that I’d like to watch on the Metro Manila Film Festival – the awesome remake of 1960′s action hit, Asiong Salonga. This new movie, in artistic black and white, stars E.R. Ejercito. Replacing his uncle, Joseph Estrada who played Asiong Salonga back in 1961. Judging from the trailer alone, this promises to be one hell of a pinoy action movie!

To celebrate the release of the first Star Wars Blu Ray collector’s set, the UK turned the BT Tower into the World’s Largest Lightsaber.

It took 60 4,500-watt lights — standing 1.3m high and weighing 124kg — installed at the top of the iconic tower to send a bright beam of blue light skywards and made the 189m tall cylindrical building look like a lightsaber.

C3P0 actor, Anthony Daniels was the one who pressed the ceremonial power button.

Spent the weekend catching up on unwatched movies. Thanks to one of my buddies, I finally got a copy of The Horde, a French-made zombie flick. And hell yeah, the French do not disappoint.

Let’s see the trailer, shall we?

Anyways, there’s not much in terms of plot or story. It’s like a Left 4 Dead episode, Zombies + Stereo-typical characters = popcorn fun!

It’s not great zombie movie but neither is it a bad one.

I’m giving it a 3 stars rating against other films in general. Versus other Zombie-flicks, it’s a 4!

Do catch it if you can get your hands on a copy!
