After the break…

Just watched Inception (starring Leonardo DiCaprio) with the wife and some friends over the weekend. I was totally blown away! They were right. My friends told me that the ending was a mind f**k.
Won’t spoil it for you guys. But you gotta watch it in the cinemas.
Trailer after the break…
Nicolas Cage stars in this modern fantasy/action flick about sorcerer’s in Manhattan.

What’s with me and babies this week?
Well, I was so disturbed by the Indonesian smoking toddler post. Good thing, my pal pointed out a great youtube video… this time, also featuring a baby… but on the fun and positive side. None of that disturbing thing about a 2-year-old smoking 2 packs a day. Enjoy!

It’s official, Tamuera Morrison, the guy who played Jango Fett (Boba’s dad, for you non-nerds out there) in Attack of the Clones, is playing Abin Sur in the Green Lantern movie.
Abin Sur was as a member of the Green Lantern Core who chose Hal Jordan as his replacement. Morrison says that Abin Sur’s backstory will be incorporated in the film. He also revealed that it took some time to get into prosthetics and that their suits were entirely CGI.

Last weekend, I watched Shrek Forever After in 3D with the family. Boy, was it a blast.
The movie was awesome. So much that, in fact, I wanted to find my old Shrek DVDs and watch it again at home. This prompted me to do a little Googling. For your reference, I’ve reprinted the plot synopsis of each Shrek movie (starting from the first one in 2001) to the latest… and added video trailers to boot.
Have fun!
After challenging an evil dragon, rescuing a beautiful princess and saving your in-laws’ kingdom, whats an ogre to do? Well, if you’re Shrek, you suddenly wind up a domesticated family man. Instead of scaring villagers away like he used to, a reluctant Shrek now agrees to autograph pitch forks. Whats happened to this ogre’s roar? Longing for the days when he felt like a “real ogre,” Shrek is duped into signing a pact with the smooth-talking dealmaker, Rumpelstiltskin.

The web is abuzz with rumors, spoilers, possible casting and what-have-you for the Avengers movie.
I’ve compiled some of the latest to get you started. More on that after the break…
