The New Face of Lara Croft - Alison Caroll

Filling in the big shoes of Angelina Jolie is the new model for Lara Croft, Allison Caroll. Caroll, a seasoned gymnast was recently revealed as the next Lara by the game’s developer, Eidos in a feature at their website.

“Carroll will portray the internationally recognized heroine for the next year with her first appearances to be made promoting the latest installment to the gaming franchise, Tomb Raider: Underworld, which ships on November 2008.” said the release.

Kelly Hu

You might remember Cassandra from the Scorpion King… that’s Kelly Hu. Kelly’s roles doesn’t end on Hollywood though. She also voiced Visas Mar, one of the Sith characters in Star Wars: KOTOR 2 video game. You probably don’t know it but she also has Filipino blood!

Who is she?

Kelly Hu is fourth-generation American with Chinese-Filipino-Hawaiian and English ancestry. One of her big breaks was winning the Miss Teen USA in 1985. She’s the first Asian-American to have claimed that crown. Since then, she has appeared as a model and an actress in various films.
