I thought that big-ass monitors that almost surround the player was the best 3D FPS experience. Well… I’m about to be proven wrong. The gun (above) was launched at the recent Quake Con by a company called Macrovision.
Touted as the Tuatara, it has all the controls on the gun and it will project the game on any wall. Move the gun up and you can see the sky, move it left and… you get what I mean.

Scratches and the normal “wear and tear” on our gadgets are NOT good. First, they suck… no one wants a cool expensive gadget like an iPad or an iPhone with a lot of scratches, dents or maybe even cracked or chipped glass/LCD (face covers).
Well, fear no more. A guy is teaching us how to do it with some sandpaper, a 3M Headlight Restoration kit and some elbow grease.

Thanks to the power of broadband and the Internet, I don’t have to go to E3 2010 and know the biggest shakers in the industry that I’m in. I’m sharing with you a 3-day recap by Gametrailers, one of the expo’s official news partners.
The big news from E3 this year came from the 3 console giants, Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony. Each company had its press conference for each day of the expo. Nintendo, for its part, had the Nintendo 3DS as their highlight. Microsoft announced the new Xbox 360 (I hope they solved the 3RL problem this time) and Kinect, their new motion capture system. Meanwhile, Sony announced new titles for the PS3 such as Killzone 3, Twisted Metal and also announced the SRP of the Playstation Move.

Here’s a recent E3 video where Nintendo President Satoru Iwata announces and explains all the features of the new Nintendo 3DS. The handheld gaming device that may well revolutionize how we game. The 3DS promises 3D gaming WITHOUT glasses.
