Boy with WoW Skills Defeats Moose

See? MMORPGs can save REAL LIVES.

This happened recently when a Norwegian boy and his sister were walking through the forest when they were attacked by a huge mother $*&@!^ moose!

The boy, Hans Jorgen Olsen, age 12, first used his “taunt” skill on the moose. This allowed his 10-year old sister to escape. When the moose finally faced him, he then used his second skill, Feign Death

The moose reportedly “stopped aggro mode and walked away”.

“Just like you learn in level 30 in World of Warcraft,” Olsen is reportedly quoted as saying.

Interesting stuff.

I’m sure their parents will now know the values that MMORPGs have taught their son.

I’m glad that both kids are alive.

Peace!

It looks like MMORPGs are very educational. :D

But seriously, they are. At the very least, MMORPGs teach shy kids social skills. I know a lot about swords and medieval weapons, and medieval and even modern armor because of Dungeons and Dragons. I know a lot about mythology and legends because of D&D.

Sometimes teachers should take advantage of MMORPGs’ appeal and combine it with their lesson plans to encourage students in their studies.
