Assasin’s Creed is Best Action Adventure Game 2007

Assassin’s Creed, developed by French gamemaker UbiSoft came out as the Best Action Adventure game for 2007. This honor was bestowed by the prestigious game site, GameSpot.

But it faced off tough competition. Can you say God of War 2, Resident Evil 4, Tomb Raider Anniversary, and Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass? Whew! But the people’s votes and the editors choice were the same. Assassin’s Creed came out on top.

The game takes place in 1191 AD. You play an elite Assassin sent to stop the hostilities by suppressing the powers on both the Crusader and Saracen sides. But as you carry out your missions, a conspiracy begins to unfold. You find yourself tangled up in a conflict that threatens not only the Holy Land, but the entire world.

Assassin’s Creed is available for the PS3, Xbox 360 and the DS. The PC Version will be released this Feb 2008

    i would honestly say that God of War 2 was the best… VERY artificial AI, repetitive game play… i’d rather be playing God of War 24/7

    i agree this game is so good cool graphics and gameplay couz god of war 2 is on the ps2 good gameplay though but the graphics is horrible but its all good

    i remember playing this game for 9 straight hours lol i just cant get enough of the action.

    AC is way overrated and once you reach the halfway point, repetitive as well…

    maybe ac 2 will be better (or not….as ubisoft montreal will also have their hands full with Farcry 2)
