Stephen Wiltshire The Living Camera

Stephen Wiltshire from the UK is a star among Savants. He is nicknamed the “Living Camera”. His extra ordinary ability is to draw panaromic sketches of cities and produce accurate details including the number of windows, trees, columns… you name it. His ultimate test is to memorize the city of Rome (including the ruins of the Coliseum) and then recreate all the details from his memory.

How To Make A Base For Your Scale Models Part 2

Last post, I showed you how to do the initial mold of the base via an old photo frame and some Plaster of Paris. This week, once the entire thing has dried, it’s time to add the details and then finally paint it.

Retro 80s Video Game Commercials

The 80′s was a decade to remember… big hair, new wave, VHS rewinders, walkmans… and great commercials for video games!

Check out the Atari commercial above. Now, a beach ain’t the first place you’ll consider when playing video games. Oh well… the bikinis probably did the marketing for them.

How To Check If Your Blog Is Working

Sometimes, you’ll get a lot of errors when you check your own blog. Your DNS might be screwed up, the ISP failed, your browser has issues, or your webhost may have some problems. When this happens to me, I call my host ASAP. Good thing I have a great host that always responds fast and fixes things when I need ‘em.

You can either YM a friend and ask him (or her) to check if your URL fires up on his PC. But there’s a quicker solution to this problem.

Real Leaf Word Master Challenge

Hey readers!

My blog just got chosen to be one of those included in Real Leaf’s Word Master Challenge via Facebook. The contest launched yesterday and it’s a “word hunt” of sorts. From the clues, you have to search the answers on the chosen blog.  Once a question is correctly answered, you earn a letter which you use to solve the puzzle. There are a total of 23 letters but you only need the missing 20.

There’s a new question everyday. Complete Mechanics are here

Bears Are The Best Guards for a Marijuana Plantation

Not!

The Canadian police got the shock of their life when they raided a Marijuana plantation in Western Canada. The cops were surprised to find 13 adult black bears “patroling” the fields. Apparently, they were lured there with dog food. If this was the owner’s idea, no one knows for sure.

Broke the 8K Mark in my Facebook Page

Wee!

Yesterday was a milestone. I recently broke the 8,000 “like” mark in my Facebook Page.

Thanks to all the new “likers” and my old loyalists who always go there everyday. I’d also like to take this opportunity to take my Mod Volunteer Squad for keeping peace and order at the page. Go team! They’re so dedicated and always reply whenever people ask for help.

Anyways, if you’re not a fan… I mean “liker” yet, head on over to LIKE MY PAGE now.

Again, my utmost thanks to everyone who supported me.

Google Chrome Shortcuts

I’m currently using Google Chrome, the new browser from duh… Google. I’ve stopped using Mozilla and Micro$oft’s Internet Explorer for quite some time now. Google Chrome is “cleaner”, faster and has a better interface.

But do you know that there are some shortcuts to make your life easier if you’re a Chrome user?
