When I was in Korea last year for my annual GStar game convention trip, I experienced Internet speeds that simply blew me away. If you think downloading 1.5 GB in less than 15 minutes is impossible, think again.
PLDT is gearing up to bring us these same speeds, possibly this year. In a news article at Inquirer, the telco giant plans “the most advanced broadband delivery platform called Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH), which will deliver high-speed data services to residences and buildings.”
Queen of England Gets Gold Nintendo Wii

Queen Elizabeth, monarch of England recently received a specially-commissioned, gold plated Nintendo Wii from game publisher THQ.
The console came with THQ’s Big Family Games.

If you’re a Terminator fan, you’ll probably be shocked to know that there’s a real-life Cyberdyne company. In the Terminator canon, Cyberdyne is the company responsible for bringing the end of the world via the creation of Skynet, the computer network that takes over all systems and brings about Judgement Day.
And now, the real-life Cyberdyne company has announced the creation of a robotic suit…
Dirtiest Gundam Ever

Good friend, Rohan Brand Manager and fellow plamo enthusiast Keith “Daemonfrost” Morales and lovely “kumander” (wife) Meng are moving in to a new condo (which is nearer to the Level Up office).
Whilst prepping for the move, he brought his collection of Gundams to the office… and boy, were they filthy! A thick layer of dust gathered on these fine mecha. Whew! Made me sneeze just thinking about it.

Swine Flu Hits Philippines

Now that we already have a couple of confirmed cases of Swine Flu or A(H1N1) virus here in our country, it’s time to take caution. The first thing to remember is NOT TO PANIC. It’s no cause for alarm. The government, c/o the DOH are already on top of the problem.
In light of these there are a few YM and text messages circulating about the area where the Swine Flu is. My advice? Don’t believe them. These are all rumors at the moment. What I’d want to share with you are some tips on how to prevent flu (and other disease) from spreading.
Star Wars Tie Interceptor Model Kit

Here’s something I did over the weekend last March. I got this Finemolds Tie Interceptor via Ebay for around P1,200.00. The detail on the kit is impressive. There were just a few parts and since the Tie Interceptor has a single, major color, it wasn’t hard to paint. Overall, assembly to finished product took around a single weekend (3 days).

PS2 Outperforms PS3 Sales

Whoa there, old one! The PS2 bested its younger brother, the PS3 in sales last month. According to a report from Yahoo Games Plugged In, the PS3 found itself beaten out of fifth place by the PS2.
“A 50% leap in Playstation 2 sales accounts for the surprising change, an increase likely prompted by the system’s price cut on April 1, a move which apparently electrified interest in the nine-year old platform.” the report stated.
Katrina Halili Vows Vengeance

With all the controversy surrounding the scandal, sexy actress Katrina Halili has finally filed a case against Hayden Kho.
Her network, GMA 7, has backed her on this and fully supports her. Talk about vengeance. I’m sure the doctor has already received the ire of the Internet community. I won’t fan the flames anymore. He deserves to get brunt of the law on this. Perv.
