Perfect World will patch our latest update, Moon Valley, this Friday, October 24, 2008. Moon Valley has content mostly for high-level players such as a new map and boss monsters among others.

The above video is the first match between Thailand and Korea for the Grand Finals. Of course, we all know that Thailand is the RWC 2008 Champion.

The Early Birds for LIVE has always been a carnival-like tradition. Gamers camp out at the World Trade Center. The first few gamers arrived as early as 4pm on Friday, Oct 17. As part of documenting the tradition, I took a video of these loyal gamers outside of WTC.
Last year, the guys had cool stuff like a beach chair. This year, they’ve taken it to an entirely new level – a tent! Check out the video after the jump. Btw, props to all Early Birds and gamers at the line. Keep the tradition alive again next year…
As per my announcement last Sunday at LIVE 2008, we are giving away EXP mods for Philippine Ragnarok Online. This is our way of saying “Thank You” to everyone who attended and made RWC 2008 and LIVE a succesful event.
P2P servers ( Baldur,Tyr, Freya) will have 2x modified exp while F2P servers (Valkyrie and Valhalla) will have 3X mods. This event will be from Oct 22 to 29, 2008. Tell all your friends!

Boss Jane Walker, our CEO and yours truly just announced Rohan as among the three new Level Up games last Saturday at LIVE 2008. Now that it’s no longer a secret, I can all tell you a lot about the game. Actually, I’ve been “secretly” playing this game during the past 2 months and all I can say is OMG… it’s an AWESOME MMORPG!

Congratulations to Thailand for bagging the 2008 Ragnarok World Championship crown. Team Thailand beat Korea in an exciting finals match which went all the way to game 5, the last game. Official reports on the details of the match are posted at the Level Up site.
Meanwhile, our very own team Philippines was defeated by Indonesia to claim 3rd place. But our boys still gave it their own and swept all their previous matches going into the Final Four. We’re proud of you! It was one helluva fight.
