New RF CDs for Crimson Dawn
The new batch of CDs for RF Online’s latest patch, Crimson Dawn, just arrived at the office. We are currently coordinating with key departments to distribute this across all cafes nationwide.
The new installer set for Crimson Dawn has 4 CDs.
If you want your own FREE copy, just head on over to the office (Mondays to Fridays) and look for GM Cydie or ask a CD from the lobby guard.

Sophie Monk
Sophie Monk is the Aussie pop star who’s a favorite cover material for various magazines. Sophie has appeared in the covers of FHM and Vogue, among others. Recently, she had an interview at Stuff Magazine.
Formerly a member of the group Bardot, Sophie has since then gone solo and has released a string of pop hits including Inside Outside and then a “hot follow-up track, Get The Music On, was released from the debut album Calendar Girl, she filmed her first major acting role, as Marilyn Monroe in a big-budget US television mini-series, and knocked back the chance to host a weekly TV show.” (from her official biography).

Monetizing Your Blog
I’d have to say that gmtristan.com has made a few bucks ever since I bought my URL. I can’t divulge the exact amount but it really made a big difference since I used this extra cash to purchase my “stuff” - gadgets and more games hehe. Throughout these past few months, I’ve tried a lot of ways to monetize the blog and make money online. A lot of them were referrals from my blogging friends like Wauks, Kiven, Selaplana, Diwa, Chino and Meng. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank these guys for all their help and support.
There were some hits and misses and I thought I’d share with you some of the lessons that I learned throughout this ordeal. It was a great year and this just goes to prove that experience is the best teacher.

The most important ingredient you need in this recipe to make money online are NUMBERS - readers/traffic translate to rankings. Better traffic and better rankings will increase your revenue significantly. You also have to write great and original content and don’t forget to optimize them for better exposure to search engines.

Tools for the Online Gamer
Online games and MMORPGs are a serious hobby.
If you want to be competitive or at the very least, organized, there are some tools and applications available from the web. Most of these tools will help you optimize your build, find the best sites to farm, etc.
I’m not talking about 3rd party programs, cheats, bots or hacks here, okay? Let’s just put things in perspective first, before I move on.

What I am going to show you are some of the ways which can take the hassle from your games and let you concentrate on having fun. A lot of these tools are available on the web for free.
Let’s examine the tools now. Go click the link below to go to the next page.

[ infotech ] Recovering Deleted Files
In this day and age, no one is safe from virus, trojans or even accidents. Sure, some people back up data regularly but sometimes, you can’t plan for everything and for every eventuality. Your notebook battery might just go out without a warning or the main power in your building suddenly goes off. Also (it happened to me) you might delete the file and then some wild application (or even viruses) might automatically also wipe out your recycle bin.
If this happens to you, what do you do? You could curse the heavens or you could simply get Handy Recovery, a nifty application that allows you to undelete your important files. Handy Recovery will recognize and recover compressed and encrypted files on your drives. This cool software will recognize ALL windows files!

How to Throw a Guild EB Party
Last Saturday, I was with the Waukster at Milton Sy’s (leader of the Bozanian pRO guild) birthday party held at Dencio’s in Greenhills. Let me first greet the guy another “Happy Birthday!” and thanks for a swell and cool party.
It was so fun that Ragnarok players were in their jockeys. Why? I’m sure Waukeen already posted the pics. I’ll try to grab what I can and post it here too. Hehehe!
The snapshot below is from a party we threw for Bacolod RO players when I was there last year.

Anyways, this prompted or inspired me to create a How-to guide on organizing your own EB party for your guild. That, after one more click…

[ video ] Chad Vader
Whenever you talk about spoof videos, Star Wars is up there as the most “spoofed”, perhaps with Bush/Osama and the Mac vs. PC ad spoofs.
This one, Chad Vader brought to us by the folks at blamesociety.net has become a cult classic. It’s also one of my favorites and I probably showed it to almost everyone at the office.
Here, Chad Vader is a day shift manager at a local grocery store. Join him and the wacky cast of characters in his adventures to reclaim his position and try to win the girl of this dreams. Promise, it’s loads of fun.

Here’s another treat for all of you. Meet Viva Hot Babe, Ms. Shanella Strauss, FHM’s hottie for January 2008.
Shanella decided to go to Japan and become a model, turning her back on probably taking chances here. In an interview at FHM, Shanella said that “I’m really enjoying my work in Japan as a model. Mas madali kasi ang buhay doon kaysa dito sa Pilipinas. I’m back here just to get some rest while I wait for my working visa.”
