Alrighty… in response to a request by CaptainSlackr (who commented on my recent post about the relationship of video games to corporate and management skills), I have a slightly different take on the subject. This time in the “matter that rhymes with text” (sigh)
According to research around February of this year, this time done by the British, women who play video games (in particular if they carry a Nintendo DS or a PSP) have more sex than those girls who do not play!

The great “big blue”, IBM, has just released details on a recent study which proves that online games can be beneficial in developing corporate management skills.
Ok, boss.. don’t bug me, it’s 3X today!
From a post at Guardian Unlimited, IBM has just sent an email from their Corporate Communications which states that videogmaes “help people become better corporate leaders…”

Sometimes, MMO players (and their avatars) qualify for the minimum requirements in forming a guild within the current game they’re playing. Be it level requirements, money or item requirements, etc - more often than not, most will say “Hey! I can start my own guild now… let me just hop on over to the NPC and then I’ll invite my friends”.
Sadly, this process is just the start of a long and ardous journey. A journey which is not for the faint of heart, which calls for dedication, leadership and a HUGE amount of your time. So, if you are forming your guild to be competitive and have no idea what you’re getting into, this post of mine might help…

It doesn’t matter what game you play. As long as it’s online and you have human counterparts either as opponents or team mates, you will never be spared from the likes of
“what a noob!!!” or “lame play, weakling!” or “bobo” (tagalog for moron).
Some can argue that talking trash is a necessary evil in an online environment while some will insist that there is very little respect in the online world.

In cooperation with the organizers of the New Worlds Alliance led by the energetic (and a good friend) Paolo J., we (RF Online and Perfect World) co-present the biggest fantasy and sci-fi convention/celebration.
The event dubbed New Worlds: Transformed will be at the Rockwell Power Plant Mall from July 9 to 15 (yep, that’s almost an entire week!).

The latest episode for Philippine Ragnarok Online (That’s Episode 15 for us here in the country), Rachel/Arunfeltz is now officially patched for Sakray.
Sakray is the official test server for pRO and is one patch ahead of the commercial worlds. It’s currently at 5x/3x so that you guys can catch up on your levels and check out the great features of the newest patch.

After several years of drought from any major pRO trophy, the first and the oldest server in Philippine Ragnarok Online, Chaos, has finally bagged its first major title.
Armada, who defeated another guild from Chaos, Sustainer of the Realms (an ally both from the uber-Chaos Alliance conglomerate - led of course by legendary “Kuya” and pRO leader, makmak641) is now the official Philippine Team to the 2007 Ragnarok World Championships!
The 7 man team of Armada will fly to Seoul, Korea to compete for the RWC on July 21 to 22, 2007!
