His name is Ardi Rizal from Musi Banyuasin, Indonesia.
Ardi is a normal, 2 year-old toddler… playing and running with friends, just like the others EXCEPT – he smokes two packs (40 cigarettes) a day.
Whenever Ardi doesn’t get his daily fix, he gets angry and goes into extreme tantrums. His mother was quoted as saying “He’s totally addicted. If he doesn’t get cigarettes, he gets angry and screams and batters his head against the wall. He tells me he feels dizzy and sick”. Ardi’s father, a fisherman, feels that nothing is wrong.

Ardi’s case has prompted a controversy on smoking laws and prohibitions in Indonesia causing a stir in government and local agencies.
